To pass on the experiences, wisdom and to increase the number of supporters of HKRC, we are honoured to invite you to become part of “Henry Dunant Club”. We offer free entrance fees and subscription fees for those eligible to join “Henry Dunant Club”. 

Requirement  

• Aged 18 or above
• Was advisor, committee member, volunteer, member, or  staff for over a year
• Without any current roles in HKRC, including advisor, committee member, volunteer, member or staff 
• Join Volunteer Orientation and“The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and Humanitarian Values (Short version) (E-learning)” if interested

Rights and Responsibilities 

Rights 

• Explore the needs of own living district or other districts, to support HKRC service and development direction

• Receiving HKRC news (including volunteer recruitment information )

• Participating in activities organised by “Henry Dunant Club”or designated HKRC activities

• Participating in one-off services (e.g. annual fundraising event “Pass-it-On Campaign”, Flag Day)

• Participating in diverse training course to equip yourself

• Able to participate in “Henry Dunant Club” Support Team to initiate and coordinate the activities of“Henry Dunant Club”

• Enjoying shopping offers at Red Cross Shop and

• Being nominated for HKRC awards (e.g. Voluntary Service Award)

Responsibilities

• To act, at all times in accordance with the Fundamental Principles of the Movement, to support and act in accordance with the policies, practices, procedure s and management decisions of the HKRC, and to respect the regulations on the use of the emblem, and prevent its misuse
• Exploring the needs and services in the community, supporting the service development of HKRC, and 
• Planning activities various professions to contribute to HKRC
