Red Cross Youth Leaders (Uniformed Group)

As a humanitarian leaders in Red Cross Youth uniformed group, the core duties are to cultivate the volunteerism and disseminate the humanitarian value to our youth members.

 

Humanitarian Leaders 
With their commitment to the Red Cross humanitarian value and volunteerism, RCY leaders are willing to participate and lead different humanitarian activities, as well as spread the spirit of Red Cross.

 

Red Cross Youth Leaders(Uniformed Group) includes Voluntary staff leaders, Unit Officer, Instructors, Youth Unit Trainer (YUT) and Adult Unit members

 

Adult Unit

These uniformed units are attached to our divisional headquarters, and members are aged 18 or above, or completed secondary school education. They can be our former Red Cross Youth members or other adults interested in joining us.

 

Youth Leaders promote RCY activities in the community
Youth Leaders promote the knowledge of First-aid activities in the community.
Youth Leaders participate in leadership training.
Youth Leaders participate in leadership training.
Youth Leaders learn First-aid eagerly, in order to protect others.

How to Join ?

We recruit adult unit members in May to June every year, you may fill in our online form and interviews will be conducted.

At the moment, all activities and training of our Red Cross Uniformed Groups are conducted in Cantonese, and most of our reference materials are in Chinese.  Due to resource limitations, HKRC have not conducted any solely-English-speaking uniformed groups.
