Time Pair-up & Exchange Memorials

At the HKRC Headquarters, 33 Harcourt Road, Hong Kong

  • Welcome and introduction
  • The Moot Secretary pairs up the competing teams by means of ballot and distributes to each team the memorial of the opposing team.
28 February 2004 (Saturday)
Time The Mooting Competition (at High Court Building, 38 Queensway, H.K.)
Morning General Rounds
9:30 a.m.- 10:15 a.m.
  • Briefing for participants and judges
10:15 a.m.- 12:00 noon
  • General Rounds for 12 teams in 6 courtrooms carrying out simultaneously.
Lunch Luncheon hosted by the City University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong
Afternoon Final Round

2:30 p.m.- 4:15 p.m.

4:15 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Final Round for 2 teams
  • Prize presentation and comments from judges of the Final Round

Evening

 Sharing, Buffet Dinner and Cultural Night (at the HKRC Headquarters)

6:00 p.m.- 6:45 p.m

7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m

  • Sharing on the work of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and on International Humanitarian Law (IHL)
