A fire broke out in Tsung Tsai Yuen, Tai Po Kau on 30 January 2011. A household with seven residents were affected and were then arranged to shelter in Tai Po Community Hall.

The Hong Kong Red Cross dispatched staff and volunteers on the same day to distribte relief materials, including clothing bundles and daily necessities, to the affected residents for their emergency needs. Psychological support service and useful information were also provided.
