A fire broke out in Po Tat Estate, Kwun Tong on 26 January 2011. A household with seven residents became homeless and were then arranged to stay in a vacant flat in the same estate. The Hong Kong Red Cross staff responded immediately after receiving the notification from Social Welfare Department. Relief materials, including clothing bundles and daily necessities were provided to the affected residents to meet their emergency needs. Psychological support service and useful information were also offered.
