A Fire happened in Kau Wah Keng San Tsuen, Mei Foo on 22 March 2010. A household with three residents were affected and arranged to shelter in a nearby community center. 

After notified by Social Welfare Department, the Hong Kong Red Cross dispatched staff and volunteer to distribute relief materials, including clothing bundles, quilts and daily necessities to the affected residents to meet their emergency needs. Psychological support service and useful information were also provided.
