A No 1 alarm fire broke out in Po Lam Estate, Tseung Kwan O on 11 February 2010. A four-resident household was affected and they were arranged to shelter in a vacant flat in the same estate.

The volunteers and staff from Hong Kong Red Cross responded immediately on the same day and distributed relief materials, including clothing bundles and daily necessities to the affected residents to meet their emergency needs. Psychological support service and useful information were also provided.
