A Fire happened in Reclamation Street, Yau Ma Tei on 1 May 2008. 3 households were affected and arranged to stay in the nearby community center temporarily. 

On the same day, the Red Cross staff and volunteer responded immediately and distributed relief materials including clothing bundles and daily necessities to the 3 affected residents to meet their emergency needs. Psychological support service and useful information were also provided.
