A fire happened in Leighton Road, Causeway Bay on 21 February 2008. A Single elder was affected and became homeless. The elder required to stay in neighbor’s home temporarily.

The Red Cross staff distributed relief materials including clothing bundles, sweaters, jackets and daily necessities to the affected elder in supporting her emergency needs. Psychological support service was also rendered to comfort her.
