Hong Kong Red Cross collaborated with the Geotechnical Engineering Office to organize Slope Safety and Fire Prevention Education Programme in the Elderly Centres near slopes. On 16 June 2017 and 31 October 2017, the programme was organized in Evangelical Free Church of China Hong Fook Church Chan Poon Pui Ching Memorial Elderly Centre and Caritas Kwun Tong Elderly Centre respectively, with a total of 64 elderly participated. This programmer aims at enhancing the elderly participants' emergency preparedness against landslide and fire hazards.
