Allocation of Donation for “Beat COVID-19 Pandemic”


As of August 2020, we have received donations more than HK$38 million in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. With the generous support from the general public, we can provide emergency support to the vulnerable and launch recovery and preparedness programmes. We strictly adhere to our internal project management and monitoring mechanism to ensure all donations are used properly for designated purposes.

As of 11 May 2020, the following organizations/ groups have arranged fundraising campaigns to support the Hong Kong Red Cross' "COVID-19 Emergency Appeal".

Fidelity International Fidelity International invited staff in Hong Kong to undertake individual fitness challenges and donate or raise funds through an online platform. Fidelity International will further top up the donation by matching staff's crowdfunding on a dollar-for-dollar basis, with the proceeds donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross in order to support humanitarian works regarding COVID-19. 1-30 April 2020
Vestiaire Collective HK Limited  Vestiaire Collective HK Limited launched the "Vestiaire Collective Charity Sale" at its online platform during 10-24 April 2020. The proceeds raised will be donated to the Hong Kong Red Cross without cost deduction. 10-24 April 2020
