On Tuesday 26 June 2018, a shooting incident broke out at Quarry Bay Park which left 2 dead and 2 injured. A service request was received the next day from a district councilor to support the affected residents. On the following day, HKRC mobilized 1 volunteer, 1 clinical psychologist and 1 staff of Psychological Support Team to conduct group session to provide psychological support to the 6 affected resident and 1 staff to support their emotional needs.
